Speech-Language Pathologist – Skilled Nursing

Description Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full Time | Warren, MI Your Skills Can Help Residents Find Their Voice Again! Concept Rehab is seeking a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide quality rehabilitation services in a skilled nursing environment in Warren, Michigan. We're looking for a caring and motivated SLP who enjoys helping individuals improve communication, cognitive function, and swallowing abilities.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on resident needs.
• Provide skilled speech-language therapy services.
• Address communication, memory, problem-solving, and cognitive-linguistic skills.
• Evaluate and treat swallowing difficulties and make appropriate recommendations.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with nursing, families, and interdisciplinary care teams.

Qualifications:

• Current Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or as required for the position.
• Previous SNF, geriatric, or post-acute experience preferred.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
