Job Title: Registered Nurse, Clinical Services (Part-Time Per Diem)

Job Description:
You will support CompassCare’s clinical function in the areas below, as assigned by your manager. Not every function will be assigned in every week, and the Company may add, remove or rebalance functions as needs change. All services are performed within the scope of your RN license and the scope permitted under CompassCare’s agency registration in each state.
Clinical on-call
- Participate in the clinical Administrator on Duty rotation on the dates you are scheduled.
- Respond to clinical escalations from caregivers, office staff and the Non Clinical Administrator-on-Duty team by phone, text, or email.
- Document each call contact and its outcome in the Company’s system by the end of the next business day.
Clinical education
- Support caregiver training and competency programs in collaboration with the Talent and Client teams.
Policies and documentation
- Follow and help maintain clinical policies, procedures, forms and workflows.
- Complete clinical documentation accurately and on time in the Company’s systems.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Connecticut and New York.
- At least 5 years of nursing experience, including at least 3 years in home care, geriatrics, hospice, case management or a related clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of aging, chronic illness and dementia care.
