DevOps Engineer

Analyzes user needs and software requirements to determine design feasibility within time and cost constraints, develops or directs software system testing, validation procedures, programming, and documentation. Confers with systems analysts, engineers, and programmers to design systems and evaluate project limitations, performance requirements, and interfaces. Modifies existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or upgrade interfaces and improve overall performance. Analyzes technical data to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications to existing ones. Designs, develops, and modifies software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes. Manages data storage, retrieval, and manipulation to analyze system capabilities, consults with customers and internal departments on project status, proposals, and technical maintenance. Monitors equipment functioning to ensure operations conform to specifications and coordinates the comprehensive installation of software systems. Develop programmatic security configurations within the software lifecycle to prevent intrusions, and architect automated pipelines to ensure continuous system availability and data recovery compliance.
