Veterinary Technician

Experienced Veterinary Technician Cleveland Park Animal Hospital | Greenville, SC For more than 80 years, Cleveland Park Animal Hospital has been a trusted part of the Greenville community, providing exceptional veterinary care while building lasting relationships with pets and their families. We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our hospital. This position is ideal for a credentialed technician who enjoys utilizing their technical skills, values teamwork, and takes pride in delivering outstanding patient care. What You'll Do

• Partner with veterinarians to provide comprehensive patient care during appointments, surgery, and treatment
• Perform venipuncture, place intravenous catheters, collect laboratory samples, and run in-house diagnostics
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
• Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical and dental procedures
• Obtain and interpret patient vital signs while closely monitoring hospitalized patients
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records
• Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and at-home care instructions
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient treatment area while supporting the hospital team as needed

Schedule

• Four 10-hour shifts each week
• Every fourth Saturday
• Shared holiday responsibilities and occasional treatment weekend coverage

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working as a veterinary technician in a small animal practice
• Strong anesthesia monitoring and surgical assisting skills
• Experience with laboratory diagnostics, patient nursing, and medical calculations
• Excellent communication and client education skills
• A dependable, positive attitude and the ability to work well in a collaborative environment
• Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced hospital while maintaining exceptional patient care
