Evening Waste Collector

Job Description

Part Time Evening Trash Collector – Valet Trash Porter | Charlotte, NC 28273

Got a pickup truck and a free evening? Turn it into steady weekly income. Community Concierge Services is hiring part time Trash Collectors (Porters) to run doorstep valet trash routes at an apartment community in Charlotte, NC. This evening job pays $45 to $85 per night.

What makes this side hustle different:

• Quick shifts, real pay – routes average about 1 hour to 2 hours 15 minutes
• A schedule you can plan around – Sunday through Thursday evenings starting at 6 or 7 PM depending on route (some weekend routes available), until your route is complete
• Paid training – no prior experience needed to start
• Paid holidays and a clear path to advancement for reliable porters
• Work solo – no register, no customers, no supervisor over your shoulder

A night on the route:

Each evening, you'll arrive at your assigned apartment community and collect bagged trash and recycling that residents set outside their doors. Expect plenty of stairs and steps - this is an active, on-your-feet role. You'll load the bags into the bed of your truck, drive them to the property's compactor or dumpsters, and head home. Simple, repeatable, and done before most people finish their evening TV show.

Requirements to apply:

• Open-bed pickup truck for hauling collected trash on the property
• Smartphone with an active data plan for check-ins and route updates
• Physical ability to carry up to 50 lbs unassisted and handle stairs nightly
• Dependable evening availability on a set weekly schedule: Sunday through Thursday evenings starting at 6 or 7 PM depending on route (some weekend routes available), until completion

A part time job, evening or night job, second job, weekend-friendly side gig, or extra income after your 9-to-5. Popular with students, retirees, rideshare and delivery drivers, landscapers, tradespeople, and anyone in Charlotte with a truck who wants consistent weekly pay without long hours.
