Electrical Panel Technician / Electrician Rochester, NYWere hiring an Electrical Panel Technician to assemble, wire, install, and troubleshoot electrical panels in the Rochester area. The ideal candidate has hands-on electrical experience, follows safety procedures, and holds a current OSHA certification. The candidate would play a team leader role. When presented schematics of a Panel box with a backplate , fully wired with components, they should be able to identify everything shown and build per prints, no questions asked. They would be heading up bigger jobs and in charge of other panel builders/electricians with less experience. They will be working directly with programmer, project manager, machine builders, and the customer, again both on our floor and customer's floor -- so traveling is involved (they would be actually traveling with the machine builder). ### Responsibilities * Assemble and wire electrical panels and related components. * Read and follow wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings. * Install, inspect, and troubleshoot panel components. * Use hand and power tools and electrical testing equipment safely. * Follow job-site safety practices and applicable electrical codes. * Keep work areas clean and organized. ### Requirements * Electrical panel wiring, assembly, installation, or troubleshooting experience. * Current OSHA certification; OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred. * Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. * Knowledge of electrical tools, components, and safe work practices. * Reliable attendance and attention to detail.
