Comet Corn Popcorn is a growing, family owned and operated food manufacturer that has been producing Sonoma Countys favorite snack for over 20 years,

We are looking for a team player to join our small, friendly staff.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Operating the popcorn poppers, and assisting other team members.

Mechanical aptitude required, with a focus on simple industrial food line

equipmentrepair and maintenance

Operate machinery quickly and accurately during busy shifts.

Cross train on all production equipment, and operate as needed.

Clean all equipment and floors at end of day.

Pick up inventory using the company van

Label bags

QUALIFICATIONS

At least 2 years of manufacturing experience (preferably food).

Repetitively lift, twist, climb stairs or sit through a complete shift.

Able to lift 25# consistently and 50# occasionally.

Reliable, punctual and comfortable in fast paced work environment.

Attention to quality and consistency required.

Ability to work efficiently unsupervised.

English and excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

High School Diploma or GED and 5 years work history

Drivers license and clean DMV driving record required

Minimum 1 year commitment

Monday through Friday9:30-6:30
