We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Charlotte, North Carolina . Strong hands-on experience with AWS data services, including AWS Glue, Amazon S3, Athena, and Redshift.
8+ years of experience developing solutions with Python, PySpark, and advanced SQL.
8+ years of experience building RESTful APIs and Java applications, preferably using Spring Boot.
Experience designing and implementing enterprise data integration solutions across cloud and on-premises environments.
Experience developing Generative AI solutions using AWS Bedrock and integrating LLM capabilities into enterprise applications.
Experience implementing production-grade CI/CD, monitoring, logging, testing, security, and operational best practices.

These will help you stand out:

Experience building and integrating Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and tools.
Experience exposing enterprise data, APIs, and business services to AI agents through MCP frameworks.
Experience with agentic AI architectures, tool orchestration, and advanced AI integration patterns.
Experience working in large-scale enterprise cloud environments.
