About the Role:

We are currently seeking an Operations Associate to join our team at our state-of-the-art dishwasher facility at The Brooklyn Army Terminal. This role will primarily focus on warehouse tasks such as operating dishwashing equipment, handling inventory, and maintaining quality standards in our cleaning process.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Conveyor Dishwasher: Training will be provided to run the dishwasher, ensuring the efficient washing, sanitizing, and drying of reusable containers and dishware.
• Scrape, Load & Unload Containers: Scrape reusable food containers, load them into the dishwasher, oversee the cleaning process, and unload the dishwasher to repack client inventory.
• Inventory Management: Organize and handle clean dishware, ensuring it’s ready for delivery or client use.
• Operations Support: Assist with general warehouse duties, including inventory control, sorting, and preparing dishware for delivery.
• Adhere to Safety & Sanitation Guidelines: Follow strict safety and cleanliness standards to ensure the safe handling of foodservice items.
• Other Duties: Assist with additional tasks as assigned by the Operations Team.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• Experience: Prior experience in warehouse, kitchen, or hospitality environments is preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and stack items up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Food Safety: A New York DOH Food Handlers Permit is a plus but not mandatory.
• Availability: Flexibility to work Monday through Friday. Full time.
