ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Build and maintain frontend and backend systems using TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js.
  • Develop APIs, data models, authentication, and payment systems.
  • Set up analytics, run experiments, and monitor products in production.
  • Ship polished MVPs or substantial iterations quickly while maintaining quality.
  • Debug production issues, incorporate user feedback, and take ownership of engagement and retention outcomes.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 2 to 10+ years of experience building and shipping consumer products end to end.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js, with experience in APIs, SQL databases, and data modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with authentication, payments, subscriptions, and deployment.
  • Familiarity with product analytics and experimentation tools, such as PostHog.
  • Comfort using AI development tools while maintaining sound architectural judgment and code quality.
  • Consumer product experience, particularly with social apps, communication tools, or cross-platform development, is beneficial.
  • A product-minded approach, strategic thinking about user problems, and ownership of outcomes.
