Operations Intern

ABOUT THE ROLE

Support the operations team at a startup-focused recruiting and talent-matching business. You will work closely with an Operations Associate and company leadership to coordinate candidates and hiring managers from introduction through interview.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Call and text candidates to confirm interest, schedule interviews, and prepare them for initial conversations.
• Follow up with hiring managers to gather feedback on candidate introductions.
• Review candidate lists for alignment with role, location, and salary requirements.
• Keep candidate statuses, notes, and next steps accurate and up to date.
• Identify recurring operational issues and suggest ways to improve processes.
• Use AI tools and automation for repetitive tasks, and review the results.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Well-organized, dependable, and able to follow through on several tasks at once.
• Comfortable contacting people by phone, including people you have not spoken with before.
• Current or recent experience in customer service, recruiting, scheduling, support, coordination, or sales; prior internship experience is not required.
• Curiosity about AI tools and automation, with some experience using them to reduce repetitive work.
• Available for 20 hours per week for three months starting November 2026.
• Based in Salt Lake or Utah County, or able to commute to Salt Lake City or Lehi for in-person work.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

$20 to $25 per hour for a part-time schedule of 20 hours per week. Visa sponsorship is not available.

LOCATION

Hybrid in Salt Lake City or Lehi, Utah. The first one to two weeks include in-person onboarding.
