Founding Forward Deployed Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join an early-stage AI company serving the consumer packaged goods sector as a Founding Forward Deployed Engineer. You will connect the platform with customers' operations teams, owning implementations from workflow discovery through go-live and helping turn field insights into product improvements.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own customer onboarding end to end, including discovery, integration, configuration, testing, and go-live.
• Work directly with operators to map purchase-order-to-cash workflows and design platform configurations for their needs.
• Build and troubleshoot integrations across EDI, ERP, inventory, accounting, and freight systems.
• Translate operational requirements into data models, configurations, and product capabilities.
• Share customer implementation insights with engineering to inform product improvements.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least 3 years in forward deployed engineering, solutions engineering, implementation engineering, technical onboarding, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Experience owning customer onboarding from discovery through deployment and go-live.
• Technical fluency with APIs, data models, SQL, and integration debugging, with the ability to read and write code.
• Hands-on experience building or troubleshooting integrations across EDI, ERP, inventory, accounting, and freight systems.
• Ability to map purchase-order-to-cash workflows and turn complex operational needs into clear technical solutions.
• Experience in consumer packaged goods, supply chain, logistics, or ERP integrations is valuable.
• Strong systems thinking, ownership, and comfort working through ambiguity and complex customer challenges.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary range: $0 to $200,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
