Founders Associate Intern

ABOUT THE ROLE

Work directly with the founder at an AI-focused financial services startup. You will take high-priority projects from open questions through research, recommendations, and execution, helping build an AI-enabled investment banking business.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Identify prospective clients and partners, develop outreach approaches, and help turn conversations into commercial relationships.
• Research investors, improve fundraising materials, build financial analyses, and coordinate diligence and follow-ups.
• Support recruiting by identifying candidates, helping assess them, and developing effective team processes.
• Investigate new opportunities, answer strategic questions, and execute high-priority founder initiatives.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Zero to three years of experience, with internship experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, hedge funds or quantitative finance, or a high-growth startup.
• Experience in at least one of those fields is required; experience across multiple fields is valued.
• Strong analytical, research, communication, and commercial skills, with the ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear recommendations and take action.
• Experience contributing to financial modeling, fundraising materials, business development, deals, partnerships, or client outcomes.
• Experience working closely with a founder or senior executive is helpful, as is exposure to fintech, AI, or venture-backed startups.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary is $80,000 to $110,000 annually. The position is a three to six month internship. Visa sponsorship details were not provided.
