Waste Program Manager – The Emergency Response and Training Solutions (ERTS) Waste Program Manager, reporting to the Director of Program Management, is responsible for managing a teams of Project Managers and Project Specialists providing the full range of waste response management, and supervision required for the successful performance, and completion of projects. Maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality, you will have responsibility for organizing, leading, and successfully completing projects to assure appropriate regulatory closure of each incident. The Program Manager also participates in the sales and marketing process by providing input to the Director of Project Management to support client expectations and the growth of services provided. • Supports Waste Services Project Specialist and Waste Services Project Manager with client communication and waste issues.
• QA/QC all projects under Waste Services Project Manager and Waste Services Project Specialists. Supports Director of Waste Services.
• Supports key personnel for all Data Entry Methods, EPA ID Number Entry, Container Entry, Manifest Entry and New Generator Waste Stream.
• Maintains Clients Master List for EPA ID Numbers.
• QA/QC and finalizes all Small Quantity Plans, Contingency Plans, Quick Reference Guides and Waste Minimization/Reduction Plans and supports completing of Compliance Reporting.
• Review project reports for approval prior to customer delivery. Also review project deliverables that will be supplied to customers and provide guidelines to the organization.
• Write SOP policies for operations on each new retail contract.
• Coordinate implementation of new contracts including, system set up for pricing, invoicing requirements, scheduling requirements and reviewing this information with all groups affected.
• Work with sales and operations to ensure all customer expectations are met once new contract is implemented.
• Meet with customer to discuss and resolve invoicing, pick up, scheduling issues as single point of contact and work with local sales and operations groups to resolve.
• Provide management with update reports on each account and any issues that are outstanding.
• Review contract for accuracy prior to submittal to customer and confirming teams will meet all customer deadline requirements.
• Bachelor's Degree Business Administration/ Environmental. Alternative combinations of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• Experience: 10+ waste management experience preferred
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Good interpersonal skills, ability to interact with people at different levels and customers
