Custodial Laborer (Part-Time)

The City of Clayton is seeking a dependable and motivated Part-Time Custodial Laborer to join the team at Meadowbrook at Clayton. If you take pride in creating clean, welcoming spaces and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment, we'd love to hear from you! As a Custodial Laborer, you'll help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our golf course clubhouse and event center before and after events, ensuring an exceptional experience for guests and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize locker rooms, restrooms, banquet areas, and common spaces.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and spot clean throughout the facility.
• Restock restroom supplies and empty trash receptacles.
• Assist with deep-cleaning and seasonal cleaning projects.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures while providing a clean, welcoming environment.

What We're Looking For

Successful candidates will:

• Be reliable and able to work independently.
• Have a strong attention to detail.
• Be able to safely use cleaning products and equipment.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with coworkers and guests.
• Be able to perform physical work, including standing, bending, walking, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous custodial or facilities maintenance experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
