SPARKS Activity Leader

ACTIVITY LEADER (Grant-Funded) SPARKS/Ignite Multiple Positions Available, see locations below. (ESS Staffing Services) LOCATIONS: Beaverton Elementary School, Beaverton Junior/Senior High School, Farwell Middle School, Harrison Middle School, and Harrison Larson Elementary. REPORTS TO: SPARKS Site Coordinator WORK DAYS: After school, 2.75 hours per day (positions available are 2-days/week and 4-days/week) WAGES: $16.48 per hour STARTING DATE: As soon as possible, with pre-service orientation prior to start. JOB OBJECTIVE: The Activity Leader will generally work with sessions of 15 students or less and will lead safe, engaging, and inclusive afterschool activities that promote positive youth development and support student growth. Site leaders will assist the Activity Leader in creating appropriate program session activities and projects based on student interest and program goals. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: • Experience working with students in corresponding grade levels preferred. • Ability to lead and supervise activities and maintain a positive, safe and inclusive environment. • Reliable attendance.
