Registered Nurse

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at the CMH Cancer Center in Bolivar, Missouri - someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a commitment to providing exceptional care and support to oncology patients throughout their treatment journey.

What Your Day Looks Like: In the Oncology Infusion department, you will be providing specialized nursing care to patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and supportive infusion therapies while promoting comfort, safety, and positive outcomes.

As a Registered Nurse, you will be:

• administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other prescribed infusion treatments according to established protocols
• assessing patients before, during, and after treatments and monitoring for adverse reactions
• educating patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, symptom management, and follow-up care
• collaborating with oncologists, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, and the interdisciplinary care team
• maintaining a safe, clean patient care environment
• obtaining and maintaining Central and Peripheral IV access and care
• actively and consistently contributing to Cancer Center operations and communications
• behaving in a manner consistent with the mission and objectives of CMH
• performing other duties as requested

Qualifications:

Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Experience: Previous oncology, infusion, medical-surgical, or acute care experience preferred

Skills: Multitasking, attention to detail, critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills

Licensure/Certification: Current RN license; BLS required; OCN certification preferred

Physical Requirements: The ability to stand for extended periods of time and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment
