Mammography Tech

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is seeking a qualified internal candidate to fill a Mammography Tech position with the Radiology Department - someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

Position Details

• Status: Full-time
• Work Shift: Days
• Hours: Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Fri - 7am - 4:30pm; 72 hours every pay period

What Your Day Looks Like:

This position will perform imaging and patient care duties, including:

• Completing diagnostic mammograms with the Radiologist
• Positioning patients for examinations in accordance with the type of procedure to be administered
• Maintaining patient comfort, care, and safety throughout the procedure
• Screening mammograms
• Completing DEXA scans

This position will assume the role of Mammography Quality Control to monitor for adherence to:

• MQSA
• ACR

*Quality control training will be provided!

Qualifications

• Education: Completion of a Radiology Technologist program with an Associate Degree from an accredited institution
• Skills: Customer service, communication, examination skills, patient safety
• Licensure/Certification: Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); Current Mammography Tech preferred, required within 12 months of hire
• Physical Requirements: Frequent walking, standing, bending for prolonged periods of time
