Position Summary Join our team as an Integrated Maintenance Data System / Maintenance Scheduling Module (IMDS / MSM) Cloud Engineer dedicated to supporting the Air Force’s critical maintenance and readiness operations. In this role, you will design, implement, secure, automate, and support cloud infrastructure and platform services that underpin the IMDS/MSM application. Your expertise will enable application modernization, enhance scalability and resiliency, and promote secure, efficient delivery through DevSecOps practices in a complex environment blending legacy and modern technologies.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions supporting IMDS/MSM.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation capabilities.
• Support containerized workloads and orchestration platforms.
• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and DevSecOps tooling supporting IMDS/MSM.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, testing, and release processes.
• Monitor system performance, availability, capacity, and operational health.
• Implement and maintain cloud security controls and compliance requirements.
• Support application modernization and system enhancement initiatives.
• Support deployment and operational requirements for applications utilizing COBOL, C#, Python, SQL, TypeScript, Angular, and related technologies.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, platform, deployment, integration, and operational issues.
• Collaborate with application developers, database engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and infrastructure teams.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational artifacts.
• Support cybersecurity compliance and vulnerability remediation efforts.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of infrastructure, platform, systems, or cloud engineering experience.
• Experience deploying, managing, and supporting solutions within enterprise cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Cloud One, or similar platforms).
• Experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code and automation solutions.
• Experience supporting containerized applications and orchestration platforms.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and DevSecOps processes within enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise application platforms, integrations, and deployment environments.
• Experience supporting applications utilizing technologies such as COBOL, C#, Python, SQL, TypeScript, Angular, or similar technologies.
• Understanding of cybersecurity concepts, secure system design, and cloud security principles.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Local to Montgomery, AL.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Experience supporting IMDS/MSM.
• Experience supporting Air Force maintenance, logistics, readiness, or sustainment systems.
• Experience supporting mixed legacy and modern application environments.
• Experience supporting application deployment and automation for COBOL-, C#-, Python-, SQL-, or web-based applications.
• Experience with Angular, TypeScript, PrimeNG, LINQ, or related technologies.
• Experience supporting SQL-intensive enterprise applications and database-driven systems.
• Experience supporting DoD or Air Force programs.
• Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.
• Experience supporting application modernization initiatives.
• Cloud-related certifications.
• Experience supporting cloud-based AI/ML services, automation frameworks, or infrastructure supporting AI-enabled solutions.
• SAFe Agile experience or certification.

Clearance Requirement:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
