• Saturday: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Sunday)
• Sunday: 6:30 PM - 7:30 AM (Monday)

Position Overview

Citadel Security USA is looking for a reliable and alert Unarmed Mobile Patrol Security Officer to provide weekend overnight coverage at multiple assigned properties in the Kirksville area. The primary responsibility is to visit designated locations, monitor property conditions, identify unauthorized activity, and report anything that may require attention.

This role requires someone who can remain focused during overnight hours, manage patrol assignments independently, and respond calmly when unexpected situations arise. A strong sense of responsibility, safe driving habits, and the ability to think through problems are essential.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Overnight Property Monitoring

• Conduct scheduled mobile patrol visits at assigned properties throughout the weekend shifts.
• Check building exteriors, parking areas, and accessible surroundings for unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Look for unauthorized individuals, visible damage, signs of disturbance, or other irregularities.
• Maintain awareness of conditions at each location, especially during quieter overnight hours.
• Follow assigned patrol routes and ensure required property checks are completed.

Incident Awareness & Response

• Identify situations that may present a concern and respond according to established procedures.
• Report suspicious activity, property damage, and other noteworthy observations promptly.
• Contact the appropriate supervisor when an issue requires additional assistance or direction.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of patrol visits and incidents.
• Communicate relevant information to support timely follow-up and resolution.

Vehicle Operation & Work Standards

• Drive responsibly while traveling between assigned properties.
• Manage patrol time effectively and complete scheduled assignments.
• Maintain attention and professionalism throughout each overnight shift.
• Follow all applicable instructions, safety practices, and company procedures.
• Demonstrate consistent attendance and punctuality.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• At least 3 years of licensed driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Ability to travel between multiple properties during overnight hours.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and remain attentive throughout extended shifts.
