Location: Pittsburg, PA

Meet the Team

Join a dynamic team of technical sales professionals dedicated to representing the Cisco brand across the Global Enterprise Segment in the Atlantic North Region. Candidates must reside in the Greater Pittsburgh, PA area and be able to travel regionally as needed.

We serve as trusted advisors to our customers and partners, bridging the gap between complex business challenges and innovative technical solutions. By collaborating closely with account teams, Business Entities, and extended technical resources, we ensure our customers achieve their strategic goals through Cisco’s comprehensive portfolio. Our team thrives on a culture of cross-functional partnership to drive market growth, expand technological footprints, and displace competition. This is an exciting opportunity to influence strategic customer priorities and lead high-impact architectural designs in a fast-paced environment.

Your Impact

Own the technical relationship and drive revenue growth across Global Enterprise accounts, primarily those based in Western Pennsylvania. You will translate complex customer business drivers into robust technical requirements, actionable roadmaps, and future-state architectures.

In this role, you will:

Lead the technical sales process from initial discovery and solution design through deal closure, displacing competitors and expanding market share.
Build deep consultative relationships with IT leadership, Line of Business (LOB) stakeholders, and partner ecosystems.
Design, position, and present comprehensive technical solutions leveraging Cisco's product portfolio and cross-architectural reference architectures.
Deliver high-impact technical demonstrations, architectural workshops, rapid prototyping, and proof-of-value engagements.
Partner with Product Management, Technical Marketing, and Customer Experience (CX) teams to align Cisco's product roadmap with strategic customer requirements.
Collaborate with Account Managers to develop multi-year strategic account plans and execute targeted demand generation campaigns.
Mentor peers and extended sales teams, guiding structured knowledge-sharing initiatives to elevate regional technical excellence.

Minimum Qualifications

6+ years of experience in a technical sales, solutions engineering, or systems architecture role within the networking and IT industry.
Proficiency in and experience with Cisco’s product portfolio and cross-architectural solution design.
Demonstrated experience leading technical engagements with IT decision-makers and enterprise stakeholders.
Experience conducting discovery, evaluating trade-offs, and utilizing reference architectures to design and present customer solutions.
Must reside in the Greater Pittsburgh, PA area with ability to travel regionally as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, CISSP).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or Business (or equivalent practical experience).
Prior experience supporting large, complex enterprise, manufacturing, healthcare, or industrial accounts.
Proven track record of managing complex opportunities and projects through a structured technical sales process.
Strong competitive market insights with the ability to differentiate Cisco solutions and articulate business value to executive stakeholders.
Experience delivering hands-on demonstrations, proof-of-value designs, and architectural workshops.
Collaborative leadership skills with the ability to influence strategic priorities, guide virtual teams, and mentor peers.
