Part Time CDL Class A , Dedicated Run to Albany

Douglassville PA to Albany 4 pm-3:30 am Monday and Tuesday Night.

2016 Freightliner Single Axle w/48 trailer

· Drives truck to destination while abiding by load safety, DOT and general safe driving guidelines.

· Ensures the accuracy of load and proper stabilization of load.

· Maintains truck log, mileage report and other mandated forms according to state and federal regulations.

· Will have a dedicated assistant to help unload and load trailer but expected to help to in the process to verify loads is efficiently and accurately loaded and stabilized to ensure that product rides safely.

· Secures product with load bars or straps.

· Inspects truck, trailer, tires, lights, brakes, oil, and water to ensure compliance with DOT standards.

Special Requirements:

· MUST have CDL Class A license

· Proven history of safe driving as mandated by state MVR reports.Able to lift 70lbs.

· Must be able to pass DOT regulated physical and drug screen upon hire, renewal, and randomly.

· Ability to operate a pallet jack and hand truck.

· Required to use various hand tools, load bar, straps, and cell phone.

· Must be mentally adaptable and flexible in dealing with a variety of people - internal and external. Capable of completing basic mathematical calculations and entering correct information on logs and other reports.

· Ability to effectively plan and organize truckloads.

· Vision correctable to within normal range for vehicle driving and completion of reports.

Salary: $21,800.00 to $24,000.00 /year
