Youll develop web applications and APIs using the Microsoft .NET stack, bring AI-generated prototypes to production-ready enterprise standards, and provide technical leadership through solution design, code reviews, and mentoring. JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. - 10+ years of professional software development experience with demonstrated growth in technical depth, scope, and complexity. - Experience developing with ASP.NET Core MVC and Web API on .NET 8+ and Entity Framework Core. - Microsoft SQL Server experience, including queries, stored procedures, and views. - Experience designing normalized relational data models. - Strong JavaScript skills. - Experience with source control using Git and/or Azure DevOps. - Knowledge of secure coding practices. - Experience using modern development tools, including AI-assisted development. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. - Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams. - Preferred: Experience with.NET 10 and EF Core 10. - Preferred: Hands-on experience with Kendo UI, including jQuery or React. - Preferred: React experience. - Preferred: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated unit testing. - Preferred: Knowledge of enterprise software architecture and design patterns. - Preferred: Experience deploying and hosting applications on IIS. - Preferred: SSIS and/or ETL experience. - Preferred: Experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES), ERP platforms such as Epicor, or plant-floor integrations. - Due to government regulation only US persons (U.S. citizen, U.S. naturalized citizen, U.S. permanent resident, holder of U.S. approved political asylee or refugee status) may be considered for this role. Drug screen and background check JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: - Design, build, and maintain enterprise web applications and APIs using ASP.NET Core MVC, Web API, Entity Framework Core, and Kendo UI. - Turn AI-generated prototypes and UI designs into production-ready solutions that meet enterprise standards for architecture, security, data access, testing, and maintainability. - Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining strong code quality and review standards. - Support and enhance existing applications, including manufacturing execution systems (MES) and other business-critical applications supporting a 24/7 manufacturing environment. - Provide production support, including occasional after-hours support, to troubleshoot and resolve application issues. - Own technical design decisions for assigned applications, including architecture, data models, and integration approaches. - Lead code reviews, mentor less experienced developers, and help strengthen development standards, patterns, and practices. - Partner with users, business analysts, database administrators, system administrators, and other stakeholders to define requirements and resolve technical and operational challenges. - Serve as a technical subject matter expert for assigned applications and workflows. - Participate n agile project planning and delivery, including estimates, sequencing, project status, service requests, and backlog management. - Stay current with .NET, front-end, and AI-assisted development technologies and apply new capabilities where they fit the environment.
