Dining Room Host/Hostess

Host / Hostess – Front of House At Chick-fil-A, the Host/Hostess role is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to create a warm, welcoming first impression for every guest. Working directly with an independent Owner/Operator, Hosts and Hostesses gain valuable life experience while helping deliver an exceptional dining experience in a friendly, fast-paced environment. This role is essential in ensuring guests feel cared for from the moment they walk through the door.

Job Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a genuine smile and positive attitude
• Create and maintain eye contact while speaking enthusiastically with guests
• Welcome guests upon arrival and thank them as they leave
• Manage guest flow, seating, and wait times efficiently
• Make emotional connections with guests to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining room and entry area
• Be dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented with a strong work ethic
• Able to work on your feet for several hours at a time
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Ability to lift and carry 20–30 lbs as needed
