Job Description:

Work Arrangement:

Location - Bellevue, WA, Boston, MA, Plantation, FL, or Minneapolis, MN
Hybrid - 3 days per week in office. Not a remote role.
Travel - Position may require travel.

Our Opportunity:

Chewy’s mission is to be the most trusted and convenient destination for pet parents and partners everywhere. Our Chewy Health team is redefining how pet parents and veterinarians care for pets, through an integrated experience across in-clinic, at-home, and app-based care.

We’re hiring an AD Payments Product role, based in any of our corporate locations - Bellevue, WA, Boston, MA, Plantation, FL, or Minneapolis, MN.

In this role, you will lead the payment experience vision, roadmap, and delivery for Chewy Vet Care Clinics. You will work with Chewy teams to ensure vet care clinicians have a seamless, efficient process for enabling customers to pay for vet care services and accompanying purchases, such as pharmacy prescriptions and clinic memberships. You will also partner closely with internal teams to ensure the paying experience is integrated and aligned with Chewy’s Rhapsody Practice Information Management System, and you will engage with other Payment product leaders to ensure Chewy Health paying environments are consistent with the Chewy checkout experience.

This is a unique opportunity to shape how Chewy delivers modern pet care. In this role, you will own the product roadmap – defining customer-first features, setting priorities, coordinating with User Experience Design and Tech Team Members, and handling development from intake through delivery. You’ll ensure features launch on time, drive key performance indicators, and deliver ongoing improvements.

What You’ll Do:

Build a customer-centric payment experience for pet parents and customer care team members at CVC clinics, and across other Chewy Health payment environments, ensuring a seamless, efficient user experience.
Partner with Rhapsody Practice Information Management System team members to ensure seamless invoicing, payment collection, and receipt processes for in-clinic and virtual care team representatives.
Own payment method expansion strategy for Chewy Health partnering with engineering and user experience design teams to launch new experiences.
Partner with Chewy Health learning & development teams to develop standard operating procedures for paying experiences.
Work closely with Payment Operations to ensure robust performance of all payment products across all Chewy Health environments.
Engage with Chewy Customer Care to understand and resolve customer pain points related to Chewy Health paying experiences.
Partner closely with Payment team product leaders to develop and manage consistent paying experiences across all of Chewy.
Work closely with Chewy data analytics teams to define and monitor success metrics, and utilize insights to test, learn, evolve product requirements, and refine user experiences.
Establish and run strong mechanisms for alignment and progress tracking across technical and non-technical partners.
Work with product, engineering, UX, customer service, Chewy Health, and Chewy Core teams, as well as merchandising and executive stakeholders.

What You’ll Need:

11+ years of professional experience in digital product management or a related field.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
Proven track record owning products from ideation through delivery - either independently or by leading teams.
Product Thinking
Demonstrated ability to solve customer problems in ways that also deliver business value.
Strong ability to drive strategy connecting the dots between insights, product architecture, and long-term strategy.
Communication & Teamwork
Clear, effective communicator - capable of aligning stakeholders across teams and levels.
Collaborative partner who brings others along in the process.
Data & Detail Orientation
Comfortable using data to inform decisions, measure success, and uncover opportunities.
Strong attention to detail and ability to execute in complex, fast-moving environments.

Bonus:

Understanding of the pet care industry and current trends shaping the space.
Experience working in payment acceptance or financial product development.
Experience working with healthcare technology, especially EMRs, PIMS, or other health information management systems.
Experience in e-commerce and in-store environments.

The base salary range for this role is $166,000 - $265,000.00.

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant. C08+ positions may also be eligible for annual bonus.

We offer different types of insurance and benefits, such as medical/Rx, vision, dental, life, disability, hospital indemnity, critical illness, and accident. We offer parental leave, family services benefits, backup dependent care, flexible spending accounts, telemedicine, pet adoption reimbursement, employee assistance program, and many discounts including 10% off pet insurance and 20% off at Chewy.com.
