Pipelayer - chesapeake geo

This position requires overnight travel. This is NOT a local or home daily position. You will be away from home Monday-Friday. Weekends at home guaranteed.

Chesapeake Geosystems, based in Baltimore, MD, is hiring experienced pipelayers to assist with geothermal installations. You'll handle pipe, dig trenches, backfill, and support geothermal crews.

Requirements:

• Prior construction or pipelaying experience is a plus
• Willingness to travel weekdays (overnight)
• Must have reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• A positive attitude and good work ethic
• Attention to safety and ability to follow instructions

Physical Demand:

• Outdoor work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, dampness and humidity
• Ability to lift, carry and move up to 80 lbs. of heavy equipment
• Frequent physical activity, including reaching, standing, stooping, kneeling climbing
