Original job description

Description

Checkmarx is the AI-powered application security leader helping the world’s most security-conscious enterprises secure the software that powers modern life. For more than two decades, our unified platform and services have helped organizations protect human and AI-generated code from the first line through runtime, reducing risk across applications, cloud, and the software supply chain without slowing innovation. We’re trusted by 1,600+ customers in 70+ countries, including some of the largest enterprises and governments in the world. Guided by research-led innovation and a developer-first mindset, we help every developer, security team, and enterprise build software that is risk-free by design. About the Role You’ll run multiple sales opportunities across new and existing enterprise accounts in your region, and your results are rewarded with uncapped earnings and early accelerators. If you’re self-driven and thrive in a fast-moving environment, this is your stage.

What You’ll Do

Sell with value. Apply proven value-selling methodologies within a defined sales process.
Become the expert. Master our industry and solutions so you can speak with authority.
Build pipeline. Uncover opportunities and fill your funnel to hit and exceed territory goals.
Plan to win. Create comprehensive account plans for your largest accounts.
Lead discovery. Dig into business and technical needs to find the real opportunity.
Quarterback the team. Direct Sales Engineers, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Executive Leadership against your account plans.
Close with confidence. Craft compelling proposals and pricing strategies that fit each customer’s business and technical needs.
Stay sharp. Keep Salesforce current and your MEDDPICC-based forecast accurate.

Requirements

The must-haves

A closer’s track record. 5+ years of direct sales to large enterprise customers, with proven revenue generation and closed business to show for it.
Territory-proven software wins. You’ve successfully sold software into this market before.
Tech-savvy by default. You’re strong with MS Office, CRM, and SFA tools, and fluent in SFDC, LinkedIn, Zoom, and Teams.
Methodology discipline. You sell with structure. MEDDIC/MEDDPICC or Command of the Message preferred.
Education. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Road-ready. Travel as needed, mostly within the US.

Preferred
