AWS Application Production Support Engineer **

CGI is seeking an experienced AWS Application Production Support Engineer to support enterprise back-office applications, including HR and Finance systems, running in a large-scale AWS environment. The engineer will monitor applications and scheduled processing, investigate production incidents, analyze logs, troubleshoot cloud and database related issues, restore services, and coordinate resolution with application and engineering teams.

This role requires someone who can work independently in a time sensitive production environment. The successful candidate should be comfortable going beyond predefined knowledge articles - analyzing available evidence, determining likely failure points, researching unfamiliar issues, and recommending practical next steps when documented procedures do not fully address the problem.

The position is primarily focused on production support and operational execution, rather than application development or building deployment pipelines.
