You will build responsive user interfaces, develop scalable backend APIs and services, integrate AI enabled capabilities, and optimize application performance, security, and reliability.

The position combines hands on software development with technical leadership, providing the opportunity to contribute to solution architecture, mentor team members, implement engineering best practices, and deliver enterprise grade applications from concept through production.

This is a Full-Time, On-Site employment opportunity located in Lafayette, LA in a Hybrid Model.

. Establish and enforce development standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices.

. Conduct code reviews and ensure application quality, security, and performance.

. Mentor development teams and provide technical leadership throughout the SDLC.

. Collaborate with Architects, Product Owners, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.

. Promote reusable components, shared services, Microservices, and API first design principles.

. Drive continuous improvement through automation, AI adoption, and modern engineering practices.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

. Experience integrating front end applications with backend services, APIs, databases, and enterprise platforms.

. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, OpenShift), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.

. Exposure to AI/ML technologies, Generative AI, LLM integration, AI APIs, or AI assisted application development is preferred.

. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevSecOps practices.

. Experience with Git, automated testing, and modern software development tools.
