Full Stack / Salesforce Engineer *

Position Description

CGI is seeking an experienced Full Stack / Salesforce Engineer to help guide the continued growth and stability of our enterprise Salesforce ecosystem. You'll work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and fellow engineers to translate business needs into reliable, high quality Salesforce solutions. . Build reusable components and integrations (REST, SOAP, Platform Events, async processing) that scale with the business

. Mentor developers through code reviews, pairing, and hands on coaching

. Own and improve CI/CD pipelines and release processes using GitLab and Salesforce DX

. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to performance and data integrity

. Partner with stakeholders to scope work, estimate effort, and plan technical roadmaps for large initiatives

. Stay current on new Salesforce releases and bring forward capabilities that move the platform forward

. Contribute to internal playbooks, onboarding docs, and reusable patterns for the wider Salesforce practice

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Required Skillset

. 5+ years experience building on the Salesforce platform, with a strong grip on Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, and Flow

. Know your way around Salesforce data modeling, security/sharing rules, and integration patterns (REST, SOAP, Platform Events, async processing)

. Have worked in Agile/Scrum teams and are used to sprint ceremonies, grooming, and planning

. Track record of shipping quality releases on tight timelines and owning your deliverables end to end

. Hands on experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud
