Change Management Consultant
Position Description
Our client is managing a multi-site SAP transformation, with 2 locations currently live and future rollouts planned around a standardized global template. The organization is focused on stabilizing the live sites, strengthening employee adoption, and preparing for future deployments.
Employees are also navigating significant operational changes, including the introduction of the Eagle and Falcon product lines and the phaseout of ALPD. These changes are separate from the SAP program but affect the same plant workforce and must be considered as part of the broader readiness and adoption effort.
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Change Management Practitioner to help project teams, plant leaders, supervisors, and frontline employees put change plans into practice. This person will focus on practical execution, frontline readiness, leader enablement, employee engagement, and sustained adoption - bridging the gap between the project team and plant operations.
The ideal candidate is an experienced practitioner who is comfortable working directly with plant teams and taking an active role in execution. They can build trust with frontline employees and leaders, recognize the operational realities of a plant environment, and help turn project plans into changes people can understand and adopt.
This position can be performed remotely from anywhere in the United States with occasional travel to Memphis, TN, Longview, TX, and Tulsa, OK.
Your future duties and responsibilities
. Assess how SAP and related operational changes affect employee roles, workflows, and day to day plant operations.
. Identify readiness gaps, adoption barriers, and areas of employee concern; work with plant leaders to develop practical responses.
. Partner with plant leadership and supervisors to prepare them to communicate changes, coach employees, and reinforce new ways of working.
. Develop clear, practical change communications in partnership with the internal communications team.
. Coordinate with the training team to identify learning needs, address readiness gaps, and align training with project milestones and other change activities.
. Activate and support change champions, super users, and other employee networks.
. Gather feedback from employees and leaders, identify emerging issues, and recommend timely reinforcement or follow up.
. Track readiness and adoption indicators, share observations with project and plant leadership, and help turn findings into action.
. Support stabilization and adoption activities at live sites while contributing practical lessons learned to future global template rollouts.
. Coordinate change activities across concurrent initiatives, including SAP and separate plant level operational changes.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
. Demonstrated experience delivering change management activities in complex operational or transformation environments.
. Practical experience supporting frontline, manufacturing, plant, or other shift-based employee populations.
. Ability to translate change strategies and frameworks into clear, actionable activities for leaders and employees.
. Experience conducting impact assessments, readiness reviews, employee engagement, and adoption monitoring.
. Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to work effectively with frontline employees, supervisors, plant leaders, and project teams.
. Experience developing or coordinating communications, leader materials, training alignment, and change champion networks.
. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple workstreams.
. Comfortable working directly with employees and leaders in operational settings and responding to feedback as conditions change.
Minimum Education Required: Bachelors Degree
Desired qualifications
. Experience supporting an SAP implementation, stabilization, or deployment.
. Experience working on multi site or global transformation programs.
. Familiarity with manufacturing operations and plant based change.
. Experience supporting super users, change champions, or other adoption networks.
