FBI - Systems Administrator - CI Poly REQUIRED

cFocus Software seeks a Systems Administrator to join our program supporting the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). This position is on-site in Washington, DC. This position requires an Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance.

Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearance
• B.S. Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of Systems Administration experience
• Experience working on Geospatial programs and familiarity with ESRI suite is highly preferred.

Duties:

• Responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining software components on all Enterprise GIS platforms.
• Performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems, commercial software, and custom software applications and extensions.
• Ensures all commercial software is provisioned and licensed, per software agreements managed by the Government.
• Schedule and perform installations for major software releases, and patches.
• Quickly applies patches and configuration changes to address security vulnerabilities.
• Monitors and tunes Enterprise GIS tools to achieve optimum performance levels.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues related to the performance and availability of geospatial tools, interfaces, and data.
• Ensures system recoverability by implementing a schedule of system backups and database backup operations.
