  • Verify completed parts meet engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Record inspection results and production information in manufacturing documentation.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, quality, production control, and supply chain teams supporting production activities.
  • Support machine setup, tool changes, preventive maintenance, and workstation organization.
  • Communicate production status, quality concerns, and equipment issues to supervisors and team members.
  • Follow machining procedures, safety requirements, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas while supporting 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Recommend improvements that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and manufacturing efficiency.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree or technical certification in CNC machining, precision manufacturing, machining technology, or a related technical field.

  • Foundational knowledge of CNC machining, machining processes, manufacturing drawings, GD&T, and shop mathematics.
  • Familiarity with precision measuring instruments, machine setup techniques, and dimensional inspection methods.
  • Basic understanding of machining materials, cutting tools, tooling selection, quality requirements, and manufacturing processes.
  • Exercises sound judgment when resolving machining issues and supporting manufacturing operations.
  • Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • CNC machine controls and manufacturing software, e.g. Haas, Fanuc, Mazatrol, Siemens, or equivalent systems.
  • Manufacturing execution systems (MES), ERP systems, and electronic work instruction applications, e.g. Epicor, SAP, Solumina, or equivalent applications.
