Your role
The Assembler is responsible for putting together various parts based on mechanical and/or electrical prints and other visuals using both hand and power tools. In this position, you will work closely with other assemblers to connect components and construct our mechanical and/or electrical products.
This role will be part of the Manufacturing team and reporting to a Team Leader. Demonstrate best practice approach in the areas of safety, quality, timeliness of delivery, and efficiency.
To succeed, you will need
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Applies knowledge to identify parts that do not meet industry standards through testing and visual inspection throughout the build process
• Modifies various parts using both hand and power tools to meet the needs of each specific build
• Maintains appropriate communication with supervisor to ensure efficient and timely production
• Completes and submits time costing sheet documentation each day with the relevant service, project, and billing information
• Maintains a professional manner to enhance the company’s image with customers
• Follows any safety regulations necessary and wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
• Cleans working area prior to leaving each job
• Attends and participates in departmental or company meetings
• Complete routine tasks according to departmental policies and procedures
• Work with direct supervision
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
Salary Range: $20 - $24 per hour
