Licensed Practical Nurse (85341)

Pay Rate - $36.33 - $45.00/ per hour based on years of experience

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. Partnering with Talantage LLC, we are currently seeking a Full-time LPN to join our team at North Branch Correctional Institution in Cumberland, Maryland.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Maryland
• Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred
• Corrections experience preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Available shift: full time, evenings 36 hours per week
