Part-Time Welding Lab Assistant

Job Responsibilities Central Carolina Technical College is seeking a temporary Welding Lab Assistant to support the daily operation of the Welding Program. Responsibilities include assisting instructors and students in the welding lab; preparing and distributing welding materials; assisting students with basic welding and cutting activities as directed by faculty; inspecting the lab for safety concerns; enforcing PPE and shop safety requirements; maintaining, cleaning, and repairing welding equipment and tools; assisting with inventory and tool room organization; receiving and unloading materials; and helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized welding laboratory. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
