Direct Support Professionals

We are looking for Caregivers to provide clients in a group home setting with the needed care in a professional and compassionate manner. This is a very rewarding job if you allow it. The ideal candidate will be patient, friendly and have excellent communication skills. You must be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help clients. SHIFT: Weds-Fri, 2p-10p Employee Responsibilities: Take the client on outings Work on goals with the client and complete documentation Assist clients with ADL's Be a pleasant and a supportive companion Report any unusual events or occurrences to supervisor Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency Adhere to company policies and delegated duties Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent: Must be 18 years of age or older Must be able to pass a Full Criminal Background check Must have a valid ID or Driver's License and Social Security for background check Must have a passable driving record if transporting clients Job Expectations: Proven experience as a caregiver Knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR) Respectful and compassionate Good time management skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Strong ethics
