About the Role: Operate a 36-foot day cab while hauling home-building supplies locally. Freight handling will involve the use of a Moffett forklift. This is a full-time, local day-shift position with home-daily routes and overtime opportunities. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a 4:30 a.m. start time. Reference #478411 Key Responsibilities: -Safely operate a 36-foot day cab -Haul and deliver home-building supplies -Handle freight using a Moffett forklift -Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections -Keep the truck and equipment clean and presentable -Verify that all delivery and transportation paperwork is complete and accurate -Follow all applicable company, customer, and transportation safety procedures -Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality for scheduled routes -Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and site personnel Qualifications: -Minimum of one year of Class A driving experience -Valid Class A commercial driver?s license and current medical card -Valid hoisting license, or willingness to obtain one on behalf of the client -Ability to pass a drug screening -At least 22 years of age -No DUI/DWI conviction within the past five years -No more than two moving violations within the previous three years, or no more than one moving violation and one accident within the previous three years -Safe driving record and commitment to transportation safety -Ability to operate or learn to operate Moffett freight-handling equipment -Ability to work an early-morning schedule and meet physical requirements associated with local deliveries Job Details: -Industry: Transportation -Job type: Local, full-time -Shift: Day shift -Schedule: Monday through Friday -Start time: 4:30 a.m. -Home daily -Overtime available -Applications accepted on an ongoing basis Compensation: -\$32.00/hr *The listed pay rate is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location, and other legally permitted considerations.
