Laundry Assistant – Part-Time Cedar Haven Healthcare Center | Lebanon, PA Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week Schedule: 10:00 PM–6:00 AM Requirements: Every other weekend and every other holiday

Position Overview Cedar Haven Healthcare Center is seeking a dependable Laundry Assistant to support our skilled nursing facility. This role is essential in maintaining resident comfort by ensuring linens and personal clothing are properly cleaned, organized, and returned in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Place soiled linens, including facility-owned and residents’ personal items, into washing machines following proper procedures
• Fold or hang residents’ personal laundry and transport items to resident rooms
• Distribute clean laundry to resident rooms promptly
• Hang clothing in closets and place items neatly in drawers
• Follow all laundry, safety, and infection control procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry area

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laundry, cleaning, maintenance, or a related field preferred
• Familiarity with laundry equipment, cleaning materials, and supplies
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to work required shifts
