As a Head Teller/ Universal Banker, you will be responsible for establishing, retaining, and deepening customer relationships by performing efficient and accurate banking transactions including but not limited to opening and closing accounts in support of Bank goals and objectives. Primary Responsibilities Provides daily supervision to teller staff and assigns duties. Performs personnel actions including performance appraisals, scheduling, approving timesheets, and interviewing candidates for employment. Provides assistance to all assigned areas of branch operations where service or assistance is needed, including teller, new accounts, vault teller, safe deposit, and lending. Assists customers in their selection of various accounts, products, and financial services available from the Bank; ensures cross-sell opportunities are presented by applying professional sales techniques. Makes decisions regarding the opening of new deposit accounts; completes forms requiring customer signature(s); accepts initial deposits; prepares all documents and items pertaining to new accounts for processing.
