Original job description

About the Role:

The Sales Support Associate - Marketing is the creative and marketing lead for Chicago's Retail team. This person is responsible for the full range of property and team marketing - from individual listing materials through broader team brand presence - and brings a proactive, strategic eye to how the team presents itself in the market. The role requires graphic design skills and command of the Adobe Creative Suite, strong project ownership, and the confidence to come with ideas and recommendations rather than wait for direction. It operates with a high degree of independence within a fast-moving brokerage environment.

What You'll Do:

Property Marketing

  • Coordinate and execute the creation and ongoing maintenance of marketing materials for active property listings including brochures, emails, maps, social media cards, floor plans and related collateral - from initial concept through revision and delivery while maintaining highly organized files for the team.
  • Partner closely with marketing department and outside vendors to produce materials that require support such as high-end brand development, website development and print collateral.
  • Execute graphic design edits and build out of additional collateral once property branding is established.
  • Produce digital marketing content for listings, including eBlasts and listing service updates, managing scheduling and distribution.

Team Brand and Business Development

  • Run point on the creation of pitch and proposal materials that support new business development, bringing a point of view on positioning and presentation - not just execution.
  • Manage the team's social media presence across platforms, maintaining a consistent voice, visual identity, and proactive content calendar.
  • Produce team-level marketing materials including market summaries, deal announcements, and team profile content.
  • Maintain the team's template and brand asset library, ensuring all materials stay current and on-brand.

Marketing Leadership

  • Serve as the team's internal marketing expert - proactively identifying opportunities to improve how listings and the team are positioned, bringing recommendations without being asked.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the team and CBRE's Chicago and national marketing groups, managing requests, timelines, and quality of output.
  • Audit the team's marketing portfolio on an ongoing basis - flagging materials that need refreshing, listings that lack visibility, or opportunities that haven't been leveraged.
  • Stay current on market activity, deal announcements, and industry trends that could inform the team's marketing approach.

What You’ll Need:

To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to perform each crucial duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
