Maintenance Technician

About the Role:

As a CBREMaintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small tomedium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.

This job ispart of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They areresponsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs onequipment and systems.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform ongoingpreventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and otherbuilding systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections,diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with theinstallation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assignedwork orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
• Support energymanagement by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliancewith building codes and safety regulations.
• Use existing procedures to solvestraightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear,concise manner.
• Impact team through defined duties, methodsand tasks as described in detail.
• Deliver ownoutput by following defined procedures and processes under close supervisionand guidance.

What You’llNeed:

• High SchoolDiploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience.In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will beconsidered.
• Meet thephysical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking,climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs.or more
• Ability tofollow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communicationskills to exchange straightforward information.
• Workingknowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook,etc.
• Strongorganizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Maintenance Technician position is $34.00 per hour and the maximum salary for the Maintenance Technician position is $38.00 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
