Aboutthe Role:

Asa CBRE Maintenance Technical Apprentice, you will develop on the job skills tomaintain buildings, industrial systems, and equipment on an ongoing basis.

Thisjob is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They areresponsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs onequipment and systems.

WhatYou’ll Do:

Receivetraining from current engineers in proper job safety and repair procedures.

Observeengineers while they perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs onfacility mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems,equipment, and facilities.

Assistwith installation and modification of building equipment and systems.

Workwith management to ensure energy management by taking measures to verify thatall systems are operating in the most efficient manner.

Inspectnew or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safetyregulations.

Followa set procedure in the performance of repetitive tasks or job activities.

Impactthrough methods, tasks, and duties which are clearly defined and followed withlittle to no discretion.

WhatYou’ll Need:

HighSchool Diploma, GED, or currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year college program ortechnical school.

Meetthe physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking,climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs.or more.

Abilityto develop skills to perform basic activities in own job.

Demonstratedability to effectively communicate.

Familiaritywith Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Organizationalskills with an inquisitive mindset.

The minimum salary for the Maintenance Technical Mechanic Apprentice position is $40,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Maintenance Technical Mechanic Apprentice position is $42588 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
