Cascade Engineering Technologies - Shop Assistant Pay: $20- $26 per hour + 11% differential Job Type: Full-Time Location: Canby, OR

Job Summary Daily cleaning and minor maintenance of CNC Machines and general maintenance of CNC Machine Shop. Moving raw material and other items as required with forklift. Shift: Weekend Days, Friday- Sunday 5:00 AM- 5:30 PM

Responsibilities and Duties

• Maintaining chip removal and recycling from CNC machines
• Cleaning and removing metal chips from CNC Machines
• Daily maintenance of coolant/oil levels on CNC machines
• Daily maintenance of CNC Machine Shop area
• Transport of goods and products between buildings
• Assisting with unloading of incoming shipments
• Provide suggestions for improvements to increase productivity, improve quality and reduce costs
• Janitorial duties
• Other duties as required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Desire to acquire knowledge of repairs/maintenance of CNC machinery.
• Ability to operate Forklift.
• Ability to work well with people at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must have excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize duties and be self-directing.
• Ability to effectively coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
