Who We Are

In an increasingly complex world where people are starving for someone they can trust, we stand for something simple: always put the client first. We do well by doing good for those we serve. It’s the ultimate measure. We believe in providing value beyond a doubt and in the notion that time will either expose you or promote you, based on your willingness to embrace change.

We serve financial advisors and investors through three entities, each headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska: Carson Wealth, Carson Coaching and Carson Partners. We provide coaching and partnership services to advisor firms – and straightforward financial advice to the investing public. We all share a common mission to be the most trusted in financial advice.

Who We Want

This role focuses on helping financial advisors understand, adopt, and maximize the value of Carson’s products, technology, and services.

Partnering with internal stakeholders, business leaders, and Marketing, this role leads product marketing strategies across a portfolio of advisor-facing solutions, translating complex capabilities into clear value propositions and effective go-to-market and adoption strategies that drive advisor and business outcomes.

This hands-on, cross-functional role requires strong product marketing expertise, independent judgment, and the ability to lead complex initiatives from strategy through execution while improving processes and building scalable approaches as Carson grows.

What To Expect

  • Positioning, Messaging, and Advisor Understanding: Develop positioning, value propositions, messaging, and differentiation for advisor-facing products, technology, and services. Partner with internal stakeholders and business leaders to understand advisor needs, workflows, pain points, and opportunities, translating complex capabilities into relevant benefits and practical use cases. Use advisor insights, research, stakeholder feedback, and available data to inform audience segmentation and marketing strategies. Connect individual products and services to Carson’s broader advisor value proposition.
  • Go-to-Market Planning and Product Adoption: Independently develop and lead go-to-market strategies for new products, enhancements, and programs, including audience targeting, positioning, launch planning, advisor enablement, and success measures. Partner with internal stakeholders, and advisor-facing teams to drive advisor readiness, ongoing engagement, and product adoption. Evaluate effectiveness using engagement, usage, adoption, and business metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership and Execution: Serve as a strategic product marketing partner to internal stakeholders to align priorities and guide positioning, go-to-market planning, and advisor enablement. Lead complex cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution, establishing clear priorities, responsibilities, and measures of success while partnering with functional teams responsible for training, content production, compliance, and operational delivery. Develop key messaging frameworks, briefs, and presentations as needed while leveraging functional specialists for production and channel execution. Navigate competing priorities and identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve execution.
  • Product Marketing Effectiveness and Innovation: Develop scalable, repeatable approaches to positioning, launches, enablement, adoption, and measurement. Apply sound judgment to prioritize initiatives based on advisor needs, business impact, and available resources. Leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance research, analysis, content development, and marketing workflows while maintaining standards for accuracy, confidentiality, and human oversight. Identify opportunities to improve collaboration, streamline processes, and strengthen the overall effectiveness of Carson’s product marketing efforts.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks, duties, and responsibilities as needed or assigned by leadership to support departmental and organizational objectives.

What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 6+ years of relevant marketing experience, including substantial hands-on product marketing experience required.
  • Demonstrated experience independently owning product positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategies, and launch or adoption initiatives required.
  • Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional projects, influence stakeholders, and drive results without direct authority required.
  • Strong strategic judgment, problem-solving skills, and ability to make decisions with limited oversight required.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex subjects required.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, navigate ambiguity, and drive work to completion required. Ability to quickly understand advisor businesses, workflows, and needs, using research, insights, and data to inform product positioning, marketing strategies, and adoption efforts required.
  • Experience in wealth management, particularly with advisor-facing products, technology, platforms, or services preferred.
  • Broader financial services experience, especially with complex or regulated products preferred.
  • Experience in marketing B2B technology, professional services, or solutions delivered through intermediary audiences preferred.
  • Experience developing product adoption, lifecycle engagement, or field enablement strategies preferred.
