Rental Associate

Are you a hands-on leader who enjoys working with equipment, helping customers and driving sales? Carr Hardware is looking for an enthusiastic Rental Lead to lead the day-to-day operations of our rental department. You\'ll be responsible for growing rental sales, maintaining equipment readiness, delivering excellent customer service and developing a motivated team. What You\'ll Do - Drive rental sales and maximize equipment utilization. - Manage reservations, rental contracts, deliveries and returns. - Ensure equipment is clean, safe, maintained and rental-ready. - Build strong customer relationships and promote a \"Yes\" culture. - Lead, train and coach rental associates. - Maintain accurate inventory, documentation and safety standards. - Monitor rental performance and identify opportunities for growth. - Work closely with the Store Manager. What We\'re Looking For - Experience in equipment rental, hardware, construction or a related field preferred. - Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools and equipment. - Leadership experience with excellent customer service skills. - Organised, dependable and comfortable solving problems independently. - Computer literacy and willingness to learn rental systems. - Flexible availability, including weekends. - Valid driver\'s licence for assigned delivery responsibilities.
