Substitute Teaching Assistant

Substitute Teaching Assistant – Ongoing Vacancy Carmel Central School District is seeking qualified candidates to serve as Substitute Teaching Assistants on an as-needed basis throughout the district. Substitute Teaching Assistants provide instructional and student support when regular staff members are absent. Assignments may vary by school, classroom, and student needs.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting teachers with classroom instruction and activities
• Providing individual or small-group student support
• Supporting students with academic, behavioral, and daily classroom needs
• Supervising students throughout the school day
• Assisting with the implementation of teacher-directed instructional activities
• Performing other related duties as assigned
