Working with a skilled team in a modern, climate-controlled facility, you’ll handle everything from paint touch-ups and interior detailing to waxing and buffing. We provide paid training, career growth opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical coverage, retirement plans, paid time off, and exclusive car purchase discounts. Join CarMax and help us create an exceptional experience for every customer.

Whether you’re advancing your career or growing your skillset, we are here to drive you forward.

Role Responsibilities

Perform thorough cosmetic inspections to identify detailing needs and ensure vehicles meet CarMax quality standards
Repair and replace small components, ensuring functionality and visual appeal
Execute paint retouching, post-paint finishing, waxing, and buffing to CarMax quality standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following CarMax protocols
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction
Follow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction
Valid driver’s license and ability to operate vehicles safely

Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience in automotive detailing tasks such as washing, waxing, buffing, masking, sanding, and minor paint applications
Familiarity with replacing small parts and performing minor cosmetic repairs
