Sorting & Packing Team Member

Caring Transitions of Englishtown & Marlboro Location: Monmouth County, NJ Pay: $20/hour | Part-Time About the Role Join our team helping older adults and families organize, downsize, pack, and prepare for relocation. You'll work under our Sorting & Packing Team Lead alongside other crew members. We're looking for dependable, patient people who enjoy hands-on work and helping others.

Responsibilities

• Sort and organize household belongings.
• Carefully pack fragile items, clothing, books, and household goods.
• Label boxes and organize them for moving or storage.
• Assist clients who may be anxious, overwhelmed, or indecisive.
• Identify valuables and items requiring client decisions.
• Follow Team Lead instructions and authorization procedures.
• Keep workspaces safe and organized.

Qualifications

• Patience, empathy, and strong attention to detail.
• Good teamwork, communication, and organization.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently.
• Reliable transportation.
• Packing, moving, organizing, or senior service experience preferred; training provided.

Physical Requirements Standing, bending, reaching, packing, lifting and carrying boxes, and working in cluttered or multi-story homes, with or without reasonable accommodation. Schedule: Flexible part-time, project-based shifts, primarily weekdays.
