About the Job Seeking an experienced, patient, and encouraging (IN PERSON) reading specialist/tutor for our 12-year-old sixth grader. She needs support with reading comprehension, vocabulary, phonics, decoding unfamiliar words, and understanding written instructions and math word problems.
We are looking for someone who can assess her current skill level, identify learning gaps, and create an individualized plan to strengthen her reading and math skills.
Experience in structured literacy, reading intervention, or special education is preferred. Our goal is to build her confidence, independence, and academic success.
